Time and Frequency Domain Investigation of Selected Memristor Based Analog Circuits

چکیده
In this paper, we investigate few memristor-based analog circuits namely the phase shift oscillator, integrator, and differentiator which have been explored numerously using the traditional lumped components. We use LTspice-IV platform for simulation of the abovesaid circuits. The investigation resorts to the nonlinear dopant drift model of memristor and the window function portrayed in the literature for nonlinearity realization. The results of our investigations depict good agreement with the conventional lumped component based phase shift oscillator, integrator, and differentiator circuits. The results are evident to showcase the potential of the memristor as a promising candidate for the next generation analog circuits.

Time-Mode Signal Quantization for Use in Sigma-Delta Modulators
The rapid scaling in modern CMOS technology has motivated the researchers to design new analog-to-digital converter (ADC) architectures that can properly work in lower supply voltage. An exchanging the data quantization procedure from the amplitude to the time domain, can be a promising alternative well adapt with the technology scaling. This paper is going to review the recent development in t...
متن کاملAutomatic Test Pattern Generation for Digital Circuits
Digital circuits complexity and density are increasing and at the same time it should have more quality and reliability. It leads with high test costs and makes the validation more complex. The main aim is to develop a complete behavioral fault simulation and automatic test pattern generation (ATPG) system for digital circuits modeled in verilog and VHDL. An integrated Automatic Test Generation...
متن کاملSinusoidal analysis of memristor bridge circuit-rectifier for low frequencies
Reasoned by its dynamical behavior, the memristor enables a lot of new applications in analog circuit design. Since some realizations are shown (e.g. 2007 by Hewlett Packard), the development of applications with memristors becomes more and more interesting. Whereas most of the research was done in the direction of memristor applications in neural networks and storage devices, less publications...
متن کاملApplication of Memristors in Microwave Passive Circuits
The recent implementation of the fourth fundamental electric circuit element, the memristor, opened new vistas in many fields of engineering applications. In this paper, we explore several RF/microwave passive circuits that might benefit from the memristor salient characteristics. We consider a power divider, coupled resonator bandpass filters, and a low-reflection quasi-Gaussian lowpass filter...
متن کاملAnalysis of Planar Microstrip Circuits Using Three-Dimensional Transmission Line Matrix Method
The frequency-dependent characteristics of microstrip planar circuits have been previously analyzed using several full-wave approaches. All those methods directly give characteristic of the circuits frequency by frequency. Computation time becomes important if these planar circuits have to be studied over a very large bandwidth. The transmission line matrix (TLM) method presented in this paper ...
